General Summary
The Scions head to the abandoned farm described Junjie. After a brief search, Anton finds the dilapidated windmill Junjie describe, and after Mork pushes a few buttons a trap door opens and the Scions find themselves inside the reinforced dojo of the four elements. Two dozen students, half wearing white robes and the other wearing black robes, are busy training at opposite sides of the dojo. Yuan, Junjie, and Daisuke are arguing loudly over the best course of action. Junjie wants to take the fight to the imperials before war breaks out, with Haversmeet caught in the middle. Daisuke wants to investigate the Eladrin ruins, as he believes they're the source of the powerful undead that have recently infested the area. Junjie accuses Daiskue of being too cautious, and says that ignoring the legions will potentially cost thousands of lives. Daiskue accuses Junjie of bringing the Imperials to their doorstep with his ambushes, and says that a legion will be nothing compared to hordes of undead ravaging the city. The two of them raise fists and begin to fight one another. The Scions decide to let the two sensei duke it out, but a group of Twin Fang students attack Daisuke from behind and seem to cripple him. Junjie scolds his students, but it's too late. They disappear from the dojo out a secret entrance, and a group of Iron Vortex student, bent on revenge, follow them. The Scions decide to split up - Magda will attend Daisuke, Elomira will scout the Imperial garrison, and the rest of the Scions will pursue the missing students before they get themselves killed. The Scions find a group of Iron Vortex taking refuge in a cave, surrounded by green wolves who phase in and out of existence. Once the Scions engage the wolves a group of Imperial scouts appear in the woods and attack the party. However, Mork and Anton notice that the Imperial scouts seem to be ghouls. All the Iron Vortex survive the fight, when an Imperial squad appears just south of the party, weapons drawn.
