Showdown with Trogdor pt. 2 Report
General Summary
The Scions managed to drive Syllin's cavalry off the battlefield, wounding her in the process and forcing her to teleport away from the field. However, the situation for the army looks increasingly dire as the Brotherhood's reinforcements appear, and Trogdor prepares to burininate the Scions front lines. However, a giant thunder cloud appears, and a massive blue dragon, flanked by several units of elven pegasi, descends upon Trogodr, taking him out of the fight. Syllin, her armor dented and bruised, appears near the Scion's command post near the center of town. She asks Rayuuv and Wanda if they are cursed and hear the voices as well. When Rayuuv fails to respond, Syllin says they are all doomed, and the only mercy they can ask for is an honorable death. After being paralyzed by Anton, Syllin falls quickly to the Scions blows. Overcome by her injuries, she makes one final request to the Scions: bury her at Corellon's temple in Avec, so her soul may find peace. She also drops her powerful, but almost certainly cursed greatsword, which Wanda puts in a bag of holding for safekeeping. After the fight the Scions notice the sounds of battle have faded; Trogdor's army has been driven from the field. A giant blue dragon lands near the Scions and introduces himself as Arcadius, father of the dragon Abraxis. His son was foolish, but he is somewhat impressed by the Scions loyalty and their willingness to fight Trogdor even if they have no way of winning. He tells the Scions Trogdor will no longer be a threat to Monterra, but they should refrain from meddling in the affairs of dragons. Only another dragon, or intervention from the gods, can help them bring down Trogdor. And Arcadius will not leave his domain to fight Trogdor on the mainland. With the Brotherhood defeated, the Krom Krushers volunteer to stay behind and help rebuild the city. They also volunteer to help defend Monterra from the Black Brigade, who are still hiding somewhere in the jungles, most likely planning an attack now that the city's defenses have been weakend The Scions now have a choice. They can take Syllin to Avec to honor her request, or they can respond to an urgent message from Yuan, Anton's former steward, that the Scions are desperately needed in Haversmeet to help quell trouble brewing within the ranks of the Four Elements.
