Session 98: A Dangerous Old Page Report

General Summary

Reolus wakes up nice an early with a brand new day. People going about their business. Only thing out of place/interest.   Person coming from the East to the town square, still with the clerics and druids in the groove. Someone who hasn’t taken care of himself.   Jas, 5.10 pale thiefling with starkly contrasting hair ruby eyes, wearing cloth. Basic normal stride but equiped with a backpack, walking staff. Dagger on the hip. Book on him. Passive smile on his face.   Reolus discusses seeing another Thiefling with Anselma, which Anselma explains that it might be the imagination.   Jas, makes it to the church.   The church welcomes him asking if he's there for work, or to pray. Jas is looking for people to fight the good fight.   Father Tossil tells him to go find the traveling group with the dark skinned lady, and the tabaxi who is usually in the tavern about now. He heads over and confronts the group with a small conversation. He introduces himself as Mister Salem. But likes to be called Jessie.   But is in disguise at the moment as Laois from Meshi.   Anselma heads to the council to receive the pin of Eschbach that shows that she is a representative of Eschbach.   At some point a guard tells the group that Pier Fee-Noir the prisoner has died after receiving a letter. 04-04-2024   Once at the cell they see blood everywhere with a paper glistening in the light that is surprisingly clear of blood. The paper is lifted from the ground by a guard and shown to Jessie to investigate. Owl notices just below the arm that is holding the letter, a sort of malice being given off. Seems to be a 2,5 inch cube made of papyrus.   With some old Egyptian Hieroglyps.   Reolus gives extra weapons to Anselma, telling her that she might need it. While Reolus heads to Father Tossil as he might be required.   After getting to Father Tossil, Reolus explains about the find in the prison and that it might be related to Stichscar.   Reolus returns with Father Tossil, at which point Father Tossil confirms the suspicion about Stitchscar.   Owl though gets afflicted with the curse of Stitchscar by poking the 'hornets-nest'.   After which a small confrontation happens between Stitchscar and Owl. He has three days before she comes for him. She has a bit of time to sort out the soul of Pier.   Father Tossil locks up the artifacts that have been found in the posession of dead Piere, and starts preparing to save Owl from Stitchscar.   Owl wonders if it is related to the BlutBurg, which Anselma denies. The cenobite feed off pain, they are basically immortal. There is one way to kill them, and that is not easy, on their home plane of the Labyrinth.
