Session 80: Making it to the Urals Report
General Summary
The group awakes and head to the fishmongers to get the big fish. Grimmaz gets filled in on who the group is looking for and why. After some time the fish mongers come out with some pieces of fish. Nine casts Light on all of the fish that is being transported. Reolus is putting extra fish on the mule of Nine. After some time Nine hears stones clacking out of the bag. Nine grabs the stones out of the bag and looks at Reolus. The group moves on also carrying the fish entrails and fish head which have been also been affected by the light spell of Nine. Maria tells the group to be careful. The groups moves on. The guards at the eastern gate, warn the group to be careful. Once outside the gate the group gets worried about the bright light of the fishes. Once arrived at a rest spot, Nine checks the rear. After some time Grimmaz starts sharpening some blades, Nine starts covering/updating. Reolus suggests he takes the 3rd shift. Grimmaz eats something and drinks some spirit. After a few bottles Grimmaz plays one of the wondering tunes on his flute. Nine sees 2 red lights slowly moving, one seems to be closer than the other, the 2 lights are approaching. 2 sets of small reddish light approach after Nine points it out to Grimmaz via Mage hand. There is fur around the eyes visible, 2 large wolflike creatures show up. One breaths fire while approaching which wakes the group up making them ready. Grimmaz being awake gets a hit on the first wolf that had blown fire. The 2nd wolf breathes fire making Grimmaz need to jump away. Grimmaz has hit the wolf heavily. Anselma, Nine, Reolus take out the other wolf. After which the group gets back to sleep and Grimmaz switches with Anselma, and Anselma switches with Reolus. At which point Nine wakes up and recasts light on the fish. Near the end of the shift Reolus wakes up Grimmaz. The group investigates the ashes of the wolf like creature. There is a rotten egg type smell coming from the ashes.
