Session 06: A Haunting Report

General Summary

Archi wonders how Magnar's and Anselma's house looks. WordiGirl explaining about the squirrel next to her IRL window. They walk through the house and come to the backyard where there's a treant and a portal. The treant is looking weirdly at Archi.     Archi decides to sleep at Magnar's place, which explains the house tour. Rukk naturally sleeps there as it's somewhat his home.     Magnar wakes up Archi. Who doesn't like to be waken up early. Archi wasn't too happy to be woken up first and keeps complaining. While at Magnar's home he'll meet Owl the Tiefling.     Archi wakes up Rukk and Arne, and the group leaves towards the Inn to have a breakfast. Coming there they see a person standing in front of the job board. Wearing a bit of armor which seems to have been used in the wild. Nora (Hope) introduces herself to the group, explaining that she's looking for some coin. After some time they hear Hope's stomach meaning that she hasn't eaten all that much and is hungry. Magnar decides to treat Hope to breakfast/dinner and butters up to her.     The group enters the tavern, when the group goes to sit down, Magnar notices something squealing from below. It appears that Magnar sat down on the turtle. After Magnar noticed it they will put the turtle down on the ground.     At some point Reolus shows up behind Magnar, while eating the usual morning fish.     Reolus explains that the couple the group helped before is having some trouble after a group delivered a doll. Strange things happening around the couples house.     Once the group finally has eaten and makes their way to Hansel and Grettel. They find different clues. Like windows broken from the inside, and the room gives an cold feeling even though it's close to a bakery.   There is a doll in the room which another group delivered which came from the hag Granny.     Hansel explains that there seems to be something shadowy hanging around. Gretta felt like she was pushed at one stage.     The group quickly investigates the doll and finds that the doll contains magic and seems to be something evil. There seems to be some defenses cast on the doll which seems to contains a soul/sentience. It seems to be highly patient and waiting.     Rukk notices in the corners that he's inspecting that there seems to be some black mold. One of the books that was thrown out was the bible for example.     Hope notices that the dolls head moved. Resulting in people noticing that the doll is strange.     The group decides to start attacking the doll. After a few attacks, the doll attacks Magnar with a silver needle which gets pushed into Magnar's skin. Magnar ends up killing the doll.     Inside the doll there's a message, may the spirit take over my enemy.     The group takes the doll to the church to get answers. Edward the monk explains that the doll tries to take over people via a silver needle.

Rewards Granted

The family gives everyone 10 gold, and the 10 gold that Rukk and Archi didn't want. Goes into the household fund.
