With burnished stainless steel skin, amethyst eyes, and golden circuit tattoos in the shape of twining dragons, D-865 doesn’t recall much before they woke up on the scrap heap. A little elbow grease, a fresh acid cleanse, and a chance to work behind the bar gave “Shiny” a fresh lease on their life, and a place to belong. Every now and again, though, D-865 goes a little wonky. Their voice clicks over into a different range, and their grip shifts on a knife as if they plan to cut more than lemons with it. The fits usually pass, but a handful of troublemakers have learned to back off when “Shiny” starts having an episode. -
