Session 2: Goblin Raid Report

General Summary

Combat continues from Session 1: Gwen takes a hit, drops her bow then runs through her aggressor Ceonwulf and Theia are both set upon, taking hits and sending them into disarray. Roderick nicks Theia's aggressor and has a blade jammed into his side for the effort. Ceonwulf dispatches his target. Ongar removes the third, driving a bolt of ice through his midriff.   Two goblin archers appear and fire wildly. Gwen returns fire and ducks behind cover, while Jakuki charges and squashes the first flat. Roddy and Jakuki chase off the last goblin under a hail of blows and missiles until a lance of radiant light scorches the fleeing goblin to death.   Once the fighting dies down, the group and the residents work to damp down the flames and tend to the wounded. Theia muses on her ability to wield magics while Roderick heals himself and Ceonwulf tends to Gwynith's grave injuries. Theia purchases some medical supplies and uses some of them to aid the burns and wounds of some locals.   Captain Reseigh congratulates us on a job well done, then meets us in the Lying Bear later to buy us a round and offer us work from one Thomas Edemah, who wants a discreet party to retrieve something stolen from him. The group drink and relax for the evening, then retire to rooms paid for.
