  Those were the last words that greeted the party, as they sat surrounded in the Sorenian tower they had not hours ago, themselves just taken. Given 10 minutes to decide their fate, the party hatched a haphazard escape plan: run and swim across the canal and hope for the best.   Unfortunately, the General of the Sorenian army was able to restrain Gash and Hesior (with great undertaking), capturing Gash and later Hesior as he tried to bring Gash's paralyzed body across the canal. Only Faolan made it across, to regroup with Riven and assess their dire straits.
