Session 79 - The Raid of Vokkmist Armoy Part 4 Report

General Summary

I(Remus), Maxsol, the courageous Friedrich, and Avaras are still at the cliff side while I span the wheel of the conveyor belt.
  Avaras casted grease spell on the door on the locked door at the entrance to the temple. After that, the mighty Friedric finished delivering the loot and sends it off using the conveyor belt. After that he took a defensive stand to protect those near him. After that I saw weird three creatures floating in the air while one of them started casting a spell, while the other two appeared to protect him. I then saw a symbol appear in the sky, I sensed it was a powerful spell so I dispelled it successfully. After I did that the three enemies looked at me specifically and one guy did not remove his sight from me at all.
A short time after that the temple door opened and I think a dozen people slipped from the grease. As a lesson from my previews fight, I tried to protect myself with mirror image, but one of those three enemies dispelled it from me. After that I jumped on the conveyor belt, and while I was on it Maxsol also jumped and carried me with him on the way down.
When I reached down the darkness from my umbral stone caused darkness all around me, I saw everything in great detail, including that my friend Reid was covered in the enemy blood, but I heard the complaints of my friends and crew on the ship that could not see a thing. A few moments have passed and the mighty Friedric have made his way down while using his shield to slide faster and after that Avaras joined him.
I saw Reid, Roger, Gerald and a lady named Shany kill a lot of enemies in a very short amount of time. while that happnend Maxsol took the umbral stone from me and threw it on an enemy ship, but he failed and it fell to the sea. I then saw the ship captain named Roland casting a shape water spell via a wand and flipping over a ship which was boarded by Reid and some enemies. Reid remained on the ship but most of the enemy crew were pushed into the sea. Later Reid, Shany and a couple of soldier from Roland crew took command of this ship and it joined us.
Several seconds later a group of enemies who walk on the air and apear to chased me continued following my location. Because I could not see the three enemies casting spell from above I casted darkness on the air walking enemies torch to cause them to go blind. I also tried to throw a fireball on the group of three people but some forcefield caused it to change direction, it was similar to the one that was on the ship before I destroyed . A few moments have passed and the sky filled with symbols of the four gods of this land. It caused all the enemies to change shape to a create like the one Geralt fought but they looked weaker. I casted fly on Reid while he, Geralt and Shany flew to the sky to fight them, I casted some magic missiles on a few of them, but I was too weak to be of any more help.  

Sailing away

We then sailed away while all of us were on the main ship, and three soldiers from Roland crew were on the other to be used as decoy.
After that moment I fell to sleep immediately. I heard there was another ship that followed the decoy ship.
When we arrived at land there were carts awaiting us and we loaded the loot and treasure and begin to ride. I rode with the mighty Friedrich. Because he promised me he will revive my only family, Serina, I offered him to go to sleep so he can recover. He agreed and slept on a floating disc I conjured.  

A temporal loss and a great gain

At sunrise he awoke and began to pray, I noticed something weird, with each moment he looked older. He then revived Serina, I shed a tear, hugged Serina and she merged with my body to keep her protected for the time being. I then thank the generous Friedric, but he looked bad and old. After that I heard the mighty friedric ,chanting something about leaving his god, because he betrayed him and was not worthy of him anymore. After that moment, Shany realized he was cursed and tried to help him. Some time later Mighty Friedric became more and more old and he looked like he could die any second. Then he said goodbye to everybody and disappeared, leaving only his cloths behind. I did not know what happened, but I carried his cloths so we can give him a proper burial. Some time later I heard a baby cry and we discovered in his cloths a baby dwarf. This baby dwarf aged rapidly, at an abnormal rate, and then he reached an age that looked similar to that of a dwarf in his early adulthood. We arrived to our destination and then sith and Gerald gets reunited and we meet with sinkhole. We split the loot and treasure as we agreed. I then saw that shany who is apperanly Roland adoptive mother giving him her sword that looked powerful. Sinkhole then explains to us we need to kill 6 kings of this land. I was happy with that because it will get me closer nova terra and maybe help me become strong enough to protect my family the next time.
