Supporting Cast
  • Al’dzilwan M'wenye
Boisterous, rambunctious, faint, blended Chultan accent after years abroad
  • Azaka Stormfang
Impatient, Prideful, and can be hot-headed at times. A purring voice and laconic attitude when not annoyed. Takes great pride in her cleanliness and her skills as a guide - to the point where she'll fly into a rage if either are questioned or compromised. Is currently grieving the loss of her nephew, Malec.
  • Eku
Guide in Port Nyanzaru. For some reason would not work with Abarl, and party failed to persuade her. Carries a staff in the shape of a stylised Coatl.
  • Queen Grabstab
Queen of the Biting Ant tribe of Batiri goblins, formerly of Yellyark. Has fallen in battle against you, and you've stolen the Vorn's control amulet from her and the Vegepygmy chieftain
  • Merchant Prince Jessamine
Quiet, soft-spoken, but with a certain hardness to her. Merchant Prince in Port Nyanzaru who deals with "Sanctions" (legal assassinations), poisons and herbs. Is afflicted by the Death Curse, her withered body hidden under black bandages and billowing robes. Has given you assistance to find and eliminate the cause. Has also asked you to be on the lookout for her former team, who lost contact with her somewhere in the Aldani Basin.
  • Commander Liara Portyr
Stern, condescending, and domineering. Commands Fort Beluarian and leads the detachment of the Flaming Fist in Chult. Has requested the party find the origin of the giant footprints in the jungle, and rid the jungle of ghouls. Will pay for both
  • Commander Niles Breakbone
Commander of Camp Vengeance. A competent commander in other theaters, but stuck in his ways. Has difficulty with a creeping war of jungle ambushes and is utterly infuriated and befuddled by it. Threatened the party with conscription or execution until Undril Silvertusk interceded on their behalf. Allowed them to pass after they aided the beleaguered Camp Vengeance by improving sanitation and healing soldiers. Also has a pet hatred of scholars who get in the way and withhold valuable fortifications and supplies from his troops. Is under strict orders to not interfere with the Watchers of Candlekeep at the Ruined Library near Camp Vengeance. Also has a friend - Lieutenant Ord Firebeard - who is wasting away from the Death Curse at Camp Vengeance.
  • Captain Ortimay Swift and Dark
Captain of the Brazen Pegasus. Has taken a liking to the Goldsomething gnomes. Her first mate, Grig Riddel, is silent unless barking orders to the crew or whispering softly to Captain Ortimay
  • Archmage Sindra Silvane
A retired merchant and former adventurer. Sindra has been struck by the Death Curse and has hired you to find and eliminate the cause before she dies and her soul is lost. She has also gathered other teams for this task, although it seems as if they've been lost to the jungle and its perils. Hides her withered body and face beneath bulky blue robes and a silvered mask.
  • Summerwise
Talking pseudodragon who is quite fond of Xandala Cimber. He seems concerned about her, and has asked you to contact him via the sending stone instead of Xandala when you find Artus Cimber.
  • Private Undril Silvertusk
Prim and proper young member of the Order of the Gauntlet. Asked to come with you to Camp Vengeance. Knowing the importance of your quest and being grateful to you for escorting her upriver, she interceded on your behalf when faced with Commander Breakbone and his demands for assistance. Terrified of Birds.
  • Vegepygmy Chieftain
You convinced the chieftain you would help him find the "Heart of The Metal God" with Queen Grabstab. Having absconded with the item, he might be a tad miffed.
  • Merchant Prince Wakanga O'Tamu
A right foppish dandy, caring little for anything outside of magical arts, items and mercantile efforts. His friend Sindra Silvane has been struck with the Death Curse, and he has already invested in several expeditions to find and eliminate the source. He has offered you substantial discounts in his stores, and has requested you find the Vorn - a magical Shield Guardian - and its control amulet.
  • Xandala Cimber
The young half-elf has asked the party to help find her father, Artus Cimber, who apparently left port Nyanzaru recently. Her sorcerous bloodline has given her a thin sheen of dragon scales. Has a pet pseudodragon named Summerwise who can talk. She's given Chomsky a sending stone so they can communicate if and when they find him. Summerwise has given you the ability to use it to contact him instead if you need to.

Scheduled Sessions

Tue 4th January 2022 7:00

The Death Curse has struck, and ye merry band of adventurers have to unfuck it post haste. To do that, you're heading to the peninsula of Chult, a steaming green jungle hell full of monsters, dinosaurs, undead, diseases, inclement weather, potential heatstroke, and probably dysentery.   Lather on some bug repellent and don your best dungarees. I hope you like the smell of Fireball in the morning, because we're going to the fantasy equivalent of Vietnam.
