Session 2, The Electrical plant Report

General Summary

The second session of the adventure began in The Afterlife nightclub, with Dumitru considering the syringe given to him by N0 Zhuren, but in spite of the feeling of satisfaction at seeing the club back in order, he resists the urge for a hit, 48 hours without a hit.
having to attend to her own place, B-4By had been transported home by Ryan, though returning in the afternoon, the day after the club had been trashed, now back up and operational. meeting Ara lurking at the door, awaiting drunkards.

The group gathers once more at the bar, going over their leads, as a message arrived from the cultist lady, telling them she was ready to give them a location where the suspected "traitor" was, as well as having a guide to take them there. Asking for a meeting, she was told to arrive at the club. The party was informed that she would not be able to bring her new helper along, something which was decided to be for the best, as it meant she would be alone.
  When she arrived, the woman was meet by Dumitru and Ryan, while B and Ara choose to hide in the shadows, both avoiding notice of the woman, who commented upon the absence of "your wonderful assistant" to Dumitru.
nevertheless, she was lead to a sound isolated room for conversation, where she informed that she had now gotten a new worker, who she found to be "disgraceful" but who would have to do for now. Besides being given information as to where they could find this person, who she named Otto Soddov, and that if he was not there, they need only let her know, and she would terminate him.
Dumitru and Ryan also chose to ask for her name, getting to know she was called "The Mistress" by the cult, and that she considered her old name tossed aside. the title, however, appeared to appeal to both Ryan and Dumitru. (god damn it guys, love ya)
With formalities out of the way, the party hopped into Ryans's car, B this time given the front seat, they headed to the outskirts of the town to where this Otto was to be found.

Where the coordinates guided them, there was indeed stood a figure in a red-lined trenchcoat and deep red hood. this figure, however, had only been given the information to wait for "Ryan and Dumitru" and not leave till they were there to be guided. the problem, he had not been given any physical description, only a description of the Ow0 unit they might well be traveling with.
Once the party came up to him, and a Ara in a plastic raincoat asked why the man had so much wiring exposed, Otto was relieved to hear it was indeed Dumitru and Ryan

getting Otto into the front seat, the crew began to move out from the city of Dyskoi, and into The Wastes beyond.

As they made their way through the dust towards the location Otto had been given by The Mistress, Ryan had to swerve out of the way of a car chase, a transport vehicle for people being pursued by a jeep and two bikes, gunfire flying between the two groups, and then promptly managed to stop the car as he saw a body in the dust ahead, avoiding to run over what was soon discovered to be an unconscious man.
Taking a closer look, Ryan found the masked man to have a bleeding spot on his head, and brought him into the back seat, tossing the three guns he had on him and the backpack near on the ground, into the trunk of the car. leaving Ara and B in charge of helping him to health while he took to continue driving. unaware, of a pursuer above.
Coming to consciousness after getting the worst of the dust removed and his head bandaged, the stranger revealed themselves to be one André Clay a scavenger from the wastes. He had been part of the car chase from before, and fallen off his vehicle, though with quick use of a first aid kit in the car, he was able to be restored to a good condition.
As the party arrived at the Pegasus Electronics Electricity plant and left the car, the pursuer from above, arrived. a 1.8-meter wingspan Pidgeon, landing on André's shoulder with a low coo. After some back and forth, and an attempt to see if the bird was radioactive via taste test, cut short by the glare of a bird, the party left "The King" at the car, while they approached the premise of the power plant.

As they approached the guardhouses, the party saw two robot guards, following their motion
(here, as the GM, I must take a moment to point out how wonderful it felt when each person took on a different approach, and it somehow felt like all got to do their thing, I really hope I pulled it off and it not just in my head)
all motions save for B, who choose to be hidden, while Ara and Dumitru put their heads together to figure out of the robots could be hacked into, and Ryan looked around to figure out the layout of the place. Otto meanwhile, with the assistance of his new "Bodyguard" André, approached the guard robot, and began to speak with him.
The outcomes, B managed to stealth in the open waste, Dumitru and Ara figured out they had to use a console to access the robots, as they only took packets from these sources rather than any incoming other packets. Ryan found the layout of the place, including how the central tall building must be the space where meetings were supposed to be done. while Otto managed to speak with one of the robots, A2, and deduce a way to trick its programing through making them think they were faulty, and not receiving proper instructions, granting the party a guided tour of the premises, showing off the tri-reactors, the electricity coils, and the storehouse and barracks. the tour concluded at the office building, which A2 said they did not have access to, but could call someone who could show off, as the party "have an appointment after all"
calling upon another unit, soon the part got to meet B.U.N who proceeded to show them inside, and lead the way, as per the request of Otto, to the server room on the basement floor, (through what was called, and I love this, "Some willy wonky shit" AKA a sideways elevator)
In the server room, Otto asked for the password for the console, something BUN expressed not having access to, though she knew an android who did. after being given two people's permission to do so, she activated "subroutine B2" something Otto recognized as an android, whereas till then BUN had been acting like a robot.
accessing the consol via deception, Otto was able to upload a file that intends to corrupt the robots and androids of the plant to the Church of ascension. he also gave a USB drive with a similar purpose to BUN, asking her to install it as a subroutine as to not have it constantly be in her mind.

after the server room, the party was returned to B1, the standard BUN resuming her service, and when asked for a person who had drones following them, came forth with the name Richard Iyot who had two following him wherever he went.
being asked to lead them to him, BUN leads the way to floor two, and the office compartments, where they could find Richards office. when his door was knocked on, the man was not ready for a meeting, surprised a being told "You have an appointment" by BUN who after letting the party in, remained outside the door, going into sleep mode linked to the door.
Quickly, the meeting inside was turned into an interrogation, the party was faced with a man with two flying drones, near him, who Ryan soon provoked by tossing the computer upon his desk into the wall, and demanding answers.
Starting the questioning, Ryan pressed out of him, that Richard had been to The Afterlife once, intending to go again, but being clueless when asked why it was trashed. when shown the footage of the attacker by Ara, he understood why they might be suspicious, but used alibi by files made at the time when it took place, as well as always having used two drones, where the footage showed one singular drone.
When pressed further, if he knew anyone else it might be, he could recall the name "Anya" as a woman he use to know who owned the same model, of drone, but he had only ever seen with one.
getting asked to call her up, Ara traced where the call was made too, locating the outskirts of the city, while the man was whispered to by Otto, and pressured by having H.O.R.N.Y pointed at him (I need to recall just when the duration was)
the call, turned out to not be answered, though by now, Ryan had growing suspicions and called up the mistress. When she picked up, he asked Richard if he recognized a voice, putting her on speaker.
Richard simply spoke a name, "Anya?" prompting a speech through teeth on the other end

"Otto. Take him out. Now!"

As Ryan hung up the call with a chuckle, Otto spared no time going for the man's throat, as per the orders, trying to crush his windpipe, but being held back in spite of Richards panicked state, and soon pushed out of the way by Ryan, after trying to explain how it was a direct order, but being denied, Otto went about messaging another figure for orders.
During all this, Ara had seen to checking out the drones, getting their technical specs, as well as their lifetime, finding both to have been activated at the same date, as well as their model and individual identity numbers.
With the man all but surrendered, and Otto getting the instructions that it was alright to leave the man alive, Ryan let Richard know that he now worked for him. And after exchanging numbers, the party left the man to try and recover himself, returning to BUN outside, telling her to show them out, and then proceeded to help comfort Richard, as he may be shaken "Big numbers going away and such, corporate stuff you know"

With that, the party was able to head out of the premises, escorted from the edge of the office building by A2 once more, as BUN let him guide the way, at first to the parking lot by instinct. after all, the group DIDnt have an appointment.

Heading back into the city, the group went to where Ara had managed to locate the phone destination. while André was stunned by the city, it fell to Ara, Dumitru, Ryan, and B to go into the apartment building and seek answers.
what they found, was that the apartment where the call had gone to, had a new tenant, Matilda who decided to be welcoming to the party and help them with their search, finding that the phone in the apartment had been called, though as her number was a different one, it had not actually come through. she then helped them call up the landlord, getting the name of the last tenant, Anya West.
After gaining very little, save an artist contact who specializes in spray paint, and knows people who are far riskier with graffiti, the crew headed back towards The Afterlife, after making a call to the mistress. (Which we might want to more properly work out, next time, on Enter The Afterlife)

•André will need to get his hands on a new bullet press if he wants to get more ammunition for his guns, as his old press is still with his old party.
•B had a neat hiding moment where she snuck herself up at the ceiling in the apparmtnet building, utilizing tanuki gakure no jutsu in order to stay hidden.
