Session LIX: One Eyed Capital Report

General Summary

The magnificent continued their travel through the scorch fields, narrowly avoiding a scouting party. They end up teleporting to the edge, having only the cliff to climb to clear the valley. Enys ferrying the small creatures up, Omaira using her gaseous form and Katara simply running up the wall left only Filthel, Baronk and Bonfire to actually climb up the edge (without rope). Which if it wasn't for Filthel, Bonfire would have met her ashy end at the bottom of the cliff.   But eventually setting path for the capital, they stopped by a local homely farm. Ran by an orc and his family. After some convincing the non-greenskins were slaves, they eventually found rooms and used the barn to harbor their slaves.   This was not an optimal situation however, as Enys was still in her humanoid form and was about to turn back into a dragon. And her shackles were still bound. This lead to a very intense moment wherein she almost lost both her legs and destroyed the shackles in the process.   After this somewhat unrestful night they continued onwards and arrived at the outer walls. The giant l.a.z.e.r. cannon of death looming above them from the giant old mining drill, and the spaceships patrolling right above them. They went to purchase a new diamond and gather some information about their adversary.   After a quick trip to the local temple, which didn't lead to much, they found a tavern associated with the local thieves guild. Finding the owner of the Simple Crow, they liberally payed their way to the information they required. Buying them some friends inside the city as well. Arranging for a plan for them to be smuggled inside the throne room of the fortress. Afterwards they found shelter in the Engines of Comfort for the night.
