Session 16 Report

General Summary

The band of adventurers wok eto the sounds of alarms and mass movement from the residents of Brema. Looking out their windows they could see the tree farm ablaze with the residents rushing to extinguish the flames. Hours pass and through the Tiffany, Scrimshaw, and Krill's help, the blaze is extinguished.

After conversing with the former tree farm's owner for a brief moment, the party left Brema for Mieltree and to hold audience with Adylnn, Vorma's great-grandmother. During their travels they witnessed a massive military regiment marching towards the border and learned that Vocem attacked the city of Nicopolis, seizing it. Maiorem's military were being deployed to the area to push back Vocem forces in defense of Luminare.

Upon arrival at the border, heading towards Mieltree, Krixan learned that Alexandria's gate-guard, Jason, was transferred to the border. Everyone was asked to declare any magical or otherwise peculiar items to the border patrol as per standard procedure. They failed to declare the dagger, but was not caught in the act. 

From here, the party stabled the horses and had their cart secured for a rate of 1 gold 5 silver per day. [starting on 6th of Sept 545]. Then they traveled to the Magical Enclave of Meiltree to seek out Adylnn. Upon entering they saw an Elven man that seemed to be of higher ranking in the Enclave conversating with a Teifling. After which the Elven man approached the party, shocked to see a band of such at the Enclave. They inquired about the rank structure of the Enclave, as well as, how to join and the differences between the two branches. The man also mentioned where to find Adylnn, in which they went to her.

Upon finding Adylnn in her private quarters within the grand library of the Enclave, Vorma rushed up to Tiffany, greeting her and mentioned that she was surprised to see them here. The party spoke about Praster, finding out that Adylnn knew of him due to a ransom letter sent to her and reports from Alexandria. Further conversation revealed that Adylnn knew of a place that was believed to hold immense power, however did not know its exact location, only that it was possibly located with the Ruins of Noreia. She told them that throughout her long life that she has seen many adventurers and treasure hunters seek reward there but all have comeback empty handed, or not come back at all.

Adylnn revealed a Vedic book that detailed the lives of the Knights of Olde and through the help of Tiffany, was able to conclude that small quotes written under each of their pictures was clues to where their respective artifact was hidden. She also informed the party that the band "Knights of Olde" was slaughtered on their way to Edessa a week prior, with the only item missing being Valasar's Lute.

The party now seeks to claim the Julius Sky Disk that they left behind in Vanguard Caverns, the cave east of New Haven that they explored before. Adylnn also agreed to help them track down the other artifacts to hinder Praster in his quest to find them and claim the assumed power. In doing so, the party was teleported to New Haven with the help of Chester Von Gordon, in which Chester went with to teleport them back to Mieltree upon completion of their quest.

Notes

Krixan was granted a recommendation from Adylnn to join the Magical Enclave of Mieltree after successful completion of a trail she gave him and Tiffany. The recommendation MAY allow him to advance to Apprentice within the Enclave and skip the study of theory that most members must complete as a Neophyte.
