Session 8: The Bjerglys Conundrum Report

General Summary

Having prepared their goods and travel Equipment, and sending Uradil and Muk Yuk on to the monastery of Yuk, Soren, Thordunn and Kilian make their way into the wordspine mountains. Their goal, find the village of Bjerglys, and the mysterious master smith Ribhus.    Their travels are largely without incident though once they get into the mountains it becomes more challenging. They meet an elderly man who warns them of earthen spirits and soon enough they find and beat two of them off. Arriving into the valley of bjerglys they notice the shimmering mountainside that fill this place without light for plants to flourish. they are attacked by wolves that have been infected? by earth spirits, and who also have citrine crystals in their hearts. Gemhearts one might say.    Thhey arrive at bjerglys and meet not that nice people who seem agressive towards the first strangers they have seen in years. The Town leader Tinning welcomes them. Tinning is a waifish elf in red golden robes, and leads the cult of the living embers. He says he is responsible for freeing the town from the tyranny of Ribhus, and only he is keeping it safe.    He says that Ribhus is likely leading the earth spirits in an attempt to overthrow the town back into his control. And the party are sent to the Glimmermine, home of the earth spirits.    They notice something of about Tinnings explanations.
