Session 17: Showdown in the Blacklake Report

General Summary

The Party continue their several daylong trip in the increasingly wilting and blasted looking lands going towards the Blacklake. The country side here is hilly and scarred, with numerous canyons, rockfalls and no vegetation or water. Luckily both Soren and Killian are able to generate the food and drink for this expedition, and so while the landscape is dour, the party is able to continue through it.    Along Their way they attacked numerous times by these ossified creatures, hyena and doglike structures, and finally in a canyon filled area a large party attacks them led by what can only really be describes as a priestess, The battle is hard but by Thordunns bombcraft, Mukyuks mastery of the elements, Sorens healing hands and Killians shielding drum they make it through.    Wanting to make a bit more headway they move forwards until Thorduns notices a shadow, moments later they are sorrounded by dozens of purple clad men with rifles along the walls of the gorge. They do not fire though, and a few moments later A large pinkhaired and imposing women steps up.    It is Elva, and she has a proposition.    She does not deny her involvement in the attacks, and even says their purpose was to disgrace and distract the Lescaille family, and that she was using the Amethyst from Ribhus's forge as the mean to do so.    she had an issue though, the retainers in charge of the operation decided that they could become even more powerfull if they cut the rest of the Tripalkins out of their plan, and simply used the amethyst for themselves.    With it they were creating a unit of ossified constructs by which to attack Nadigav directly and for that troop they needed more bodies to combine with the shades.    Elva wants the party to raze the camp, and take out Casnemos Tripalkin, the madman in charge of the amethyst.    After the party agrees, she takes her men and leaves the party to rest.    Next step- Claiming the amethyst.
