Session 12- Return of the Muk Report

General Summary

Coming out of the crucible the crew go before Ribhus who explains how the rods of warding can be used to interact with the Forgegems. Making their way out to collet the forgegems they are faced with opposition at the secret exit. The Warriors of Bjerglys- Tinnings men- treachourous fire elementals. Knowing this Søren and Thordunn give them no chance to enact their treachery and attack first.  Muk Yuk and Uradil under guard outside see their chance for escape as they were about to be tortured by Tinning.    A massive brawl ensues, well less a brawl and more an internecine war. Muk and uradil box their way through the outer guards hearing fighting from within.  Inside the crew are pinned in a narrow hallway, though they do quick work of the Halberdiers, the clearly expert bowmen are pinning them down, no the mention they are still exhausted from their massive battle in the Arena- tinnings magic are a real Danger as a massiv wall of flames appears. Søren is wounded and carried away from the front by Thordunn and he causes a massive dense fog to appear in the room. Outside Tinning though to capture Muk in a wall of fire, unknow to him that uradil is also within is arena. Muk blazes with punches like a wildfire and was able to take Tinning down in few seconds.  Heroicly he and uradil join the fray in the mist, and take down more ember rangers, but both Thordunn and Søren go down. The sole remaining Ranger threatens to kill Thordunn if no one challenges him. Muk goes to save his friend "i shall fjæs him!". Alas it was to late and as Muk Enters the Fray the ember rangers cuts him down. and Muk bleeds out , thoug 'killian and Søren try they cannot save him and Muk Dies, His spirit stays stron though and his shade not only kills the ember ranger, it also escapes into thin air so that it is no danger to his friends.    Devastation is felt by the crew and Uradil, they refuse to accept his death, he who did everything to save them, he who stood in bushes and he who scored some fucking hits when it counted. But... There might be a way. All these elementals gave bodies new life through pieces of a forgegem, what could a fully fresh one do? They have the tools to manipulate it. Should they Try?  Killian starts a Sceance, and establishes contact to the Lover within Muk. Muk Yuk the lever tries to console them, and that they want nothing done to them.  The Nadigav crew cannot accept this. They bring his body inside the forge, first to Ribhus, whose eyes shimmer in the light of thinking, unseeing of them. and then directly into the forge where the Aquamarine Forgegem is left. The manipulate it above muk yuk body with the warding staffs and hope for something.  Muk Yuk's Shade flashes into awareness. It feels a cold draw in the center of the mountain. Coldness, emptiness, but also a hope of warmth. It passes through the mountain, deep into its root where it enters the forge room. Suddenly is sucked into the forgegem, and the gem transfers its powers into the anvil, or rather the body upon it. Mul Yuk's eyes open in brilliant blue on blue. a cold fills is veins, deep into his core. The explosion of power, has disintegrated the forgegem and frozen most of his companions. Muk is cold so very cold. the promise of warmth seems a lie now- but... he is back his friends are here and he is back!   Making a small camp outside in the woods the crew ponders on the next step, what will Ribhus say? what about tinning? many options lie open.
