Session 00: Journey to Star Mountain

General Summary

7/1/2020 Stormclimber travels for 7-8 days north to meet up with Tizoc and Silas. Tizoc and Silas are sitting in the bar. Cash in a favor for help from Stormclimber. Silas is enjoying the entertainment of the town. Tizoc is following Silas. Silas is Tizoc’s fight promoter. Silas sees a group of beggars looking for two tieflings. He joins up with the group, persuading them that he knows who they are (Bill and Tammy) and tells them that they were headed south. He is handed a token that can be used to call if he finds the two. They also attempt to hand him a dagger, which he grabs with a cloth covered hand. Tizoc is apprehensive. Silas is momentarily hypnotized by his bag, such that he actually quits talking - quick someone check to see if he is still breathing! Saoirse walks into the bar that contains Tizoc, Silas, and Stormclimber. She walks over to an empty table. Everyone uses this chance to describe their characters. She is sitting at a table, looking over maps and other papers. Tizoc offers a fight. She politely declines, while insulting him at the same time and offering violence to their manhood. She offers a proposition for making lots of money. She is headed to the north of star mountains - looking for someone who owes her a debt. She is looking for muscle and has offered two gold coins (Lost coin of Chronos). Silas mentions that he received a riddle about the star mountains. They come to an agreement. They head out in the morning. Morrigan and Misvari part ways with the bard. Morrigan is rambling exhaustedly. Matilda Larilaf - a female half-elf. She tends to run around the bars. A beggar has a small symbol on the side of her neck. Misvari plays for the tavern owner and is allowed to play for the group. Brings some people in. Morrigan drops a few silver into the beggars cup, and drops Ammero’s name. She makes a comment about the back-side while looking toward the back of the building. The Beggar is behind the building, standing tall. She asks if they were sent by Ammeros or someone else (and Misvari confused the second name with the bard). The beggar is Matilda. She won’t go due to dealing with the cultists but will mark the map. The cultists are looking for proof, which is the encoded letter. She recommends bug repellent as well - Keoghtom’s ointment or repellent. M&M take the longer, safer route. Saorise and the group are headed up the mountains. They are going to go up the mountain - short route. Coming down they hear two people talking about hand signals. They meet up and are trying to feel eachother out - friends or foes? Silas takes out the dagger and attempts to slice his hand with it. Tizoc manages to stop him, but not take the dagger. A dirty woman, wearing scale mail and a shield, appears from the north (Amara). She curses in celestial and grabs the dagger and starts to chant. The dagger turns to sand. Saoirse is looking for a man. Describes him to Amara. Some cultists appear around us. As the sun set, the land shifted and it felt like night, but also day.
