6. Late lunch with Luca Report

General Summary

""Well the thing is Samson, expanding into the Eastern districts is going to require the kind of capital I just don't believe you have" Galigar swirled the ice in his aperitivo and adjusted his wide brimmed hat- his immense pink and white belly was speckled with a few curled grey hairs. "Furthermore, dear Samson, you'll find yourself in competition and I dare say stark contrast with that Kellog chap who's so popular Eastward." Galigar's fat lips spread into a greedy smile, his friend Samson did not respond, but seemed to lean forward- looking across the pool toward the forest. "Samson my boy, what ever are you looking at?" Galigar heaved himself up into a sitting position and slurped at his cocktail- a loud reptilian shriek sounded from the tree line."  

• Party competed in the annual tug of war with the Kennitz family. 
• Kilm Beach won the competition, aided by the absence of Beattie  and his gang who were investigating the explosion. 
• Ashtyn acquired some fish from Goulburn and the party headed home. 
• In the forest Ashtyn encountered Hyrsam and the lizard creature which he tried to feed some fish unsuccessfully. Hyrsam asked Ashtyn if he would like him to resolve the pool issue for him which Ashtyn agreed to. 
• The party slept and arose the next day to discover Torgen Kummel and some labourers in the yard- they were hoping to warn them about a dangerous creature which attacked the sacred pool, killing 10 tourists. 
• The party made their way to the priory and spoke with Mama Talbot. They began tracking the creature through the woods and saw Tiber Su Masa  and Usso Kaman  watching them as they moved through the woods. 
• They encountered Beattie  and Bill Selhurst  talking in the woods and kept going. 
• As they emerged at the far side they met Luca Kadeen  for the first time in person. 
• Luca asked them to eat lunch with him and invited them to join him in his private box that night at the fights. 
• Afterward a young boy gave a note to Ashtyn inviting him to dinner with Mama Ulmassa that evening.
