5. Boom boom at Beattie's Report
General Summary
"Kappa had waited all year for this day. His mother made her special cinamon and clove milk, warmed over the fire- for his breakfast. She plonked the mug in front of her son and ruffled his curly hair. Kissing his round red cheeks she whispered: "This year is your year". All day Kappa was a bundle of nerves- waiting for the otter dive. This year he would finally fulfill his childhood dream of being the otter king."
- Ashwyn was named the Otter king. He claimed two large fish and nailed them to the wall of the Clack Shack.
- The next morning the party woke up to find the team of bussys from the Crook Point Hotel outside. The fish had been picked clean by something or someone.
- The party and bussys took their belongings to the glade and stored their things in Immogen Shiverglade's study. They searched the study and discovered more about her work and interests.
- Bo buried the corpse of the bird creature and noticed some strange properties of the blood.
- The party then went to visit Zelda Farrow to pursue the strange letter from Immogen.
- Before this they ate lunch at The Last Drop and had a good conversation with Ribeye and Sascha about the layout of the fighting league and the seeding of the fighters.
- They went to Zelda's house and convinced her to talk to them- she provided them with Immogen's journal. In which they learnt that Immogen had acquired the map and map device from a stranger known to Beattie. Furthermore, Immogen had some kind of business arrangement with Beattie and had examined some strange creatures Beattie had stored in his warehouse.
- They learnt that Immogen had left Crook Point and gone to Golwood.
- After this they went to the fights- Bo fought Reza and defeated him. During the fight Ashwyn snuck out and went back to Beattie's warehouse. He snuck in and investigated the large cages. He released a strange lizard creature and shattered the back wall with the help of Hyrsam.
