Lunaris 15, 3032: Year of Fire

Following the game, the Omens got all dressed up to attend the traditional afterparty of the Superb Owl competitions. Accompanying them were the Thunderbirds, who had gotten equally dressed up for the occasion (more details can be found here).   While at the party, the Omens furthered many of their subplots. Ilya got Andromeda drunk on one evermead, which while delicious as a summer's breeze, is stronger than a dragon's bite. Lorelai took Morgan to dance, where they exchanged a bit of backstory; "both" are from Illemnor, and Morgan is from a suburb of Falkwood, with family still in the state. Trading partners, Lorelai danced with Sir Reginald for a while, much to both parties chagrin. Amara and Junn Qo watched as Sapphire ruthlessly hit on Ilya, and made fun of Morgan when Lorelai left for a moment. Lorelai, who herself was furthering the plot of druidic romance between Andy and Fyn; they seemed to have a shared interest in each others druid circles. Dorian got hammered.   The banter was cut short by the game of King's Bowl, the main event of the yearly afterparty. Each team took up positions in front of a pyramid of regal statues whose crowns were filled with highly-flammable Phoenix Fire Whiskey. The goal is for your team to alight each crown before the opposing team can. Each crown that is lit must be drunk before the game can continue. The Omens won again, classic.   But before they could enjoy their victory, the cheers around them turned to screams as glass shards rained down from above; a dozen figures clad in dark armor wrapped in green sashes dropped from the geodesic dome above, surrounding the dance floor.
