Recap
Winter's Third Turning, First Moon, 1511
The Omens reconnected in beneath the skies of the Winter Court. Andy, assisted by an old man named Memory, was guided to Amara via a compass very similar to that Khorvis used within the Pathways, and picked up Ilya on the way. Andy asked in parting with Memory if he knew anything about the stars, and in reply he very accurately described stars, before saying he knew nothing about them with a sly wink. Augustana, assisted by a royal Winter eladrin, was guided by a winter wolf named Mishka to Lorelai. The group convened on Amara's position before determining where to go next. It was agreed that the best course of action was to reach the Palace of Air and Darkness in the distance, where they guessed the Morningstar had been taken, but there are miles of winter forest surrounding it, and they determined they would need allies if they were to continue. Andy suggested Memory, but the group decided that visiting Caspian would be a better option, since he would have connections to the Court. The group continued back, were ambushed by frost giants, and realized that they had completely forgotten about Dorian. Poor Dorian. Khorvis and Peter are both loosed in the Feywild as well. But that is a problem for later. Amara debriefed the group on the fey rights of guest friendship; so long as they maintain a host to guest relationship and do not break any rules, if Caspian agrees to be their host he can do them no harm for the time spent under his roof. However, she also emphasized the importance of remembering Mortal superstitions of the fey; don't eat the food, don't drink the wine, watch your tongue lest you unwittingly enter a pact. While they are superstitions, they have their roots in truth. When they arrived back at his manor, Amara and Andy noted that the grounds were alive with attendants, sentinels, and servants, though they were invisible to most Mortal Eyes. Entering Caspian's home, they found that he had prepared a great feast for them, though Augustana told him not to, and he graciously offered to host them in his manor for their stay in the Feywild.Missions/Quests Completed
