General Summary

After agreeing to a tentative alliance with Laxius, he revealed that he intends to destroy the Church of Bane before returning to Menzoberranzan to seek vengeance on those who'd shunned him for being chosen by Bane. He revealed that the Apostles had been sent to Koryo to investigate the rift that Vazrimoth had sensed here 2 years prior.  Benkei had another conversation with Mugen, attempted to convince him to take him to Tamamo no Mae in exchange for information about Benkei's past. He also discovered that Mugen is growing stronger and learning to fight against the seal.  Benkei and Genji spent the next day investigating the mysterious woman and the cold fronts that seemingly followed her but discovered that she was connected with Lazarus, who in turn revealed himself to be Laxius in disguise. Conradus went ahead to Miketsukami and visited Hattori Hanzo in search of a new weapon. He also tracked down Minamoto no Hiromasa and learned more about his interactions with Galbatorix, who seems to be going by the name "Shruikan". He also bought the medallion Hiromasa had been given to contact Galbatorix. Benkei also had a small reunion with him. Genji returned to Miketsukami later that night upon Suzuha's request and the two had a sparring match in the palace garden. Musashi's imprint that had been left within Suzuha during the attack by the StarCrossed passed on as a result of the two samurai finally laying their feelings bare. Suzuha also asked Genji to retrieve Musashi's notes that Soujiro had hidden in some ruins near the Chasm. After waiting for Rei to craft a teleportation sigil for their use, Benkei teleported the group to the Janjira Jade mines where Conradus wanted to collect jade for Kakuzu and Hanzo. The group encountered a colony of arachnid creatures that "convinced" them to help them rid their tunnels of a greater threat. Delving deep underground they came across an undead group of the arachnid creatures and soon found themselves in an open chamber filled with lava. Upon entering it the found themselves facing down the Death Tyrant that had made this area its lair.
