The Battle of Abe no Seimei Report

General Summary

Hiding the bodies of Agito, Genji, and Vuzath, Pietdidro and Benkei threw themselves into the fray, finding Abe no Seimei a rainy moshpit of blood, fire, and death. Entranced by the fires, Benkei found himself alone amidst the carnage, but managed to regroup with Mumei. The two of them were joined by two new faces sent to Abe no Seimei to help the war effort; a snow oni named Kenshiro and a human named Dioka. Joining forces with them, they fought their way through the attack Disciples and Tatsu forces until an Orochi, a spawn of Yamata no Orochi joined the battle. Along with Ayaka and Rei, they battled the Orochi but were also under attack from the Undead Banshou and Nozomi. They managed to bring the Orochi down but Nozomi's psychic abilities were formidable, and things began looking grim. Raishin and Pietdidro arrived to help and things began looking up. Outnumbered and under heavy fire, Nozomi retreated with Banshou's mangled body just as Mifune arrived. With their leaders gone, the rest of the Disciples were easy pickings and the battle was soon over. Working through the night, the corpses were removed from the temple and the blood and fire was cleaned as well. Meeting with Mifune and Azekura, Benkei, Raishin, and Yuuna were able to bring Genji back from death for a third time, leaving Vuzath dead for another day. Deciding to move on without him for the time being, Tsukuhana, Kenzo, and Suzuha also arrived to gather and share information.
