The Iron City and the Blood Lotus Guild
General Summary
After regrouping in the morning, the group split up to run errands and do some quick shopping before they returned to the Janjira Mines to collect more jade. From there, they teleported straight into the heart of Byakuroku to commission a weapon from Goro Masamune. Unfortunately, Byakuroku's Blood Lotus Guild enforced a strict policy involving the leakage of information regarding their current technology. After securing a meeting with Daimyo Mikazuki Tanjiro he agreed to sell them older models of their technology in exchange for a favor. The indigenous Si Xiong, who mainly keep to the south of the Sabaku have recently started migrating north. Tanjiro asked the group to discover why they were showing such abnormal behavior and if possible drive them away from the Crescent Moon Valley as he wanted access to Janjira's Jade Mine. While in Byakuroku, several members of the Lotus Guild expressed an uncomfortable interest in Benkei's advanced structure. After returning to the Crescent Moon Valley and making their way through the Janjira ruins, the group encountered a tribe of Si-Xiong led by a young woman named Mae-Lin. They befriended the Si-Xiong and learned that they were moving north because the "Sabaku is agitated". They also learned that the source of this agitation may stem from The Chasm to the far south. They returned to Byakuroku and reported to Tanjiro who kept his promise to sell older technology to them. After lightening their coin purses, they returned to Tengoku to rest and recover. During that time Conradus commissioned an axe from Hanzo with the remaining jade, leaving the group with half a week's downtime in the capital.
