Session XXV - Between Two Powers

General Summary

• Having just acquired the item for the White Scale, the group met back up at Melitha's camp. The group casted sending to Gregor Eser to inform him that they had the item. He then appeared in the camp to converse with them. He offered to infrmation and gold so that they would give the item to him instead of the White Scale. The group said that if he could get them the information before they reached the White Scale, then that the item was his. As they took there watches Mel said she needed to step outside for a second. Laufter was suspicious and followed her. She immediately began feeling towards Dregsway, at which point Laufter attempted to stop her but was unsuccessful. The next morning he informed the group. They then all headed past Dregsway, where Quinterra and Nayr snuck in and grabbed there horses and cart. They then began heading towards Groth Point.
• Along there travel they were stopped by the same figure that Arethyn met the previous night. He could not allow them to have that item. The group then realized he was accompanied by three other figures, as well as Mel. Combat ensued. There enemies were strong and well equipped. Terol, the Mayor, was immune too all of there magic, and they were being shot by a very skilled crossbows expert. Eventually Laufter was even hit with a bolt of slaying, almost dropping him too the ground instantly. Slowly however, the party over took them. Killing one after another. They exhausted all there energy, but they eventually killed all of them but Terol, as he surrendered before they could. Now they have Terol in their grasp. I wonder what they shall do too him?
