After a night of rest within the Capitol Cities walls, the party split off. Some went and explored the various shops, while others indulged into duels. Soren found himself an interesting magical object, while Arethyn had made a new acquaintance. After the duel, Arethyn and Drelken went off to find a drink. In doing so, the party stumbled across an old friend, Lokelius. He had found himself traveling with a sort of playing band, and had made his way up to the capitol. The party members who knew him previously obviously invited him back into there ranks, and Lokelius accepted. Simply saying he had a few loose ends he had to clear up before he travels with them.
After, the party once again continued to explore the great city. Many of them heading over to a local smith recommended to them by Drelken. Soren hired the services of said smith to forge a dagger of venom for him, while others simply browsed. The party explored a number of other shops, while Quinterra decided to explore a little bit higher in the city. As she roamed she came across a set of five statues, depicting a group of deities known as "The Five". She learned more about them from a pair of older locals. She also explored a small book store near the great temple, and picked up a number of books.
Arethyn looking for some coin went towards a large arena centered lower in the city. The young soldier on guard informed her of the various tournaments they run. Intrigued, Arethyn decided to sign up for the tournament happening the following day, with a prize pool of 1000gp.
The party then headed back the inn, and rested for the following day...
