Session VIII - Smell of a Siege - 14th of Tulth

General Summary

• After a restful night, they group headed back to the Blades Fortress. There they spoke with Pelith and managed to get a little more information out of him. They learned of an individual known as the Caretaker, and how he is wanted dead by the Blades.
• The party then headed up the fortress and arrived at the second floor. There lines of people were waiting to speak various leaders. From there they headed to the top floor. A long narrow hallway with no obvious end. The group walked, and walked, and walked... Roughly a distance of 3 miles was traversed. Eventually a door came into view. Within was a small room, in the middle a single table with a key atop it. They grabbed the key, at which point the hallway suddenly shrank and the illusion upon it wore off.
• They then left the Fortress and camped outside, getting ready to enter the back entrance into the fortress. While resting they saw the Drove walking towards the town preparing for their attack. With everything in place, the group entered the sewer entrance. While traversing the large sewer tunnel, the water began to swirl and some type of water elemental appeared and attacked the party. Thanks to some luck, the group came out unscathed. Now ready to enter the fortress, and help in the assault...
