After following Persivis' information, heading down into the Betor Mines, and winning a harrowing battle, the party is weak and bloodied. They setup camp within the mine to rest. After awakening, the party decided to attempt to reawaken the Mechanical Golem residing at the end of the hall.
Luckily for them, they were successful. As the Golems blue core relit, it was immediately hostile. As it marched forward it began shooting lightning bolts, and swinging its massive hammer. But, the party had thought ahead, and took apart much of the Golem, hindering its effectiveness. In addition, Nayr used a powerful wand he had found many weeks earlier, to completely paralyze the construct. It was an easy win for the group after that...
The group harvested the Golem of its core, and then headed back above. There Arethyn informed them of Persivis' visit, and the information he had given her...
