After the momentous accomplishment of rooting out the Heralded Blades, the party headed Westward for the Elezian Capitol in search of new work and information involving their golden orb. During this long journey, they group successfully made it past the guards post on the Elezian border. After resting the night, the group pressed forward. On their next leg of travel they came across an old acquaintance, Milee. A black cat they had met north-east of here. After saying that his family was dead, you all agreed to allow Milee to travel with you.
Towards the later half of the day, the group saw the appearance of large crosses dotting the road every 2-3 miles. On every one, a dead body. After quite a lot of walking, the group saw a disturbance in this pattern. A cross with no body. A pool of fresh blood at its feet indicated something. After investigating, they found a trail and followed. It led them to a small hut, where inside a lycanthrope and some beats had abducted a halfling woman. The group defeated them, and saved the woman. Upon rescuing her, they realized it was the same lady they had set free from the Blades dungeon a few days prior. Horga Ulthes was confused and disorientated, but alive. She joined the group in their travels for the time being.
After another nights rest, the group continued. This day was relatively normal, until later in the day. As they stumbled across a dead caravan of Elezian soldiers. They searched for any valuables but found nothing. As they searched, a voice interrupted them. A halfling by the name of Gregor Eser. He gave them the gold he had found on the dead, and a White Scale pendant that belonged to the one they were escorting. He and the party then travelled to Treberick. There they rested, and Gregor gave the party an opportunity. He could help him with investigating the recent attacks of a powerful group of beasts to the south-west. He also gave them the opportunity to help in investigating the Jolswen attack. In exchange, he would give 2000gp for both information on the Golden Orb, and the party would owe Gregor Eser a favor.
