Session 8: Jules's Offer Report

General Summary

Jules had an offer from Marena to join the War Party under her and to train with them but he wants to go talk to Ana and his dad first. Jules goes back to his room to call his dad and they talk about him becoming part of the War Party. His father tells him that he can either return home or become part of the War Party and that he'd support him either way. Jules accepts the position on the War Party.   Jules talks with Brody while helping get the club up and running in the leading weeks to opening on Halloween weekend. Brody suggested that there could be some unrest amongst the werewolves about the bastet moving into the area. They talked about the Khan that lives in the area and how it has setup a pact with the garou for its small area that it lives in and them respecting it. Brody says that the Bagheera presence is completely different with it being larger and seemingly doing whatever they want and that a lot of garou see Huntsville as theirs.   Opening night happens and Marena, Bear, Luther, Ana, Nix, Alex, Sam and Maddox are there along with some others. Jules is walking around doing security when he sees Baby on the dancefloor dancing with her brother, Teeth. After a few mins later a third joins them and they find out that it's Jetta. She tells them that they'll be civil and not do anything as long as the bastet don't do anything to make them act irrational. She tells them that they're there just to have fun. Melena doesn't want a scene so she tells everyone to keep their cool and see how it plays out. Jules goes back to walking the crowd to see if anyone else is there and he spots someone in the crowd with a bunch of belt tassels from various Bagheera houses. They find out that it's Hate/Raphael Domingo and he's hanging out with two other Black Spirals named Alayah (pack beta) and Isbel (pack leader) who are hanging all over Hate.   Bear confronts Hate in the club as they're leaving and Hate tells her that her tassel is going to be an easy trophy for him and his first Pilar. It's all she can do to keep her cool with him and they leave.   Waverly, Brody, Navy and Tristan are across the street waiting on them as they come out of the club and start following them from across the street. As the crowds thin out and they continue to walk, Waverly's pack gets ahead of the BSD's and start to cross over in front of them. At that time the BSD's slip into the umbra and startle the two Gaian groups. Waverly's pack comes up to Malena's group and Jules notices that Tristan is missing. The werewolves immediately go into the umbra and Marena and Bear setup a passage so the Bastet can follow. When they get in they hear a scream and see the werewolves running up ahead of them. The Bagheera take chase only to find the garou up ahead with Tristan's body and them crying over him.   That's where we leave off.   If they talk to Jetta or any of her group again she'll say that's what they get for trying to pin them in and attack them. If they had just let them leave then the boy would still be alive. They would've just left. Plus it wasn't her pack that did it, it was Isbel's pack. She was already having to talk Hate back from going back and attacking the Bastet while Isbel and her pack killed Tristan.
