E27: Chains of Xidis Report

General Summary

Brief session, had a late start. Notes from Timber, to be embellished later.  

  • We hear a heavy, metallic thunk from above. Someone is climbing down the ladder toward us. We stare at this figure.
  • "Welp, it's a good thing I found you all. My name is Eno, I am here on behalf of Chaerynn. She is formally declaring war against the Dimir company. Prisoners of war are on the table."
  • We flipped him off a few too many times and enter combat with him.
  • We catch up with King an then reach out to Samwell, who requests we meet up and discuss who will take the 7th chai in the consortium.
  • Ash negotiates allowing Elsie to take the 7th seat.
  • Todd and Ash drop the news about the upcoming war, and they promise help after this matter is sorted.
  • Ash and the consortium come to a deal, offering Elsie better pay and upgrades to our ship.
  • Ash's father called while we were away, said he couldn't reach him and wouldn't share what the information was. Ash calls his father back, who asks if we met a messenger (Eno). We then learn that Eno broke Ash's father's gun and took his sisters.
