Session 39: Chihuacabras or Chupahuahuas? Report

General Summary

The party does some serious scouting of the situation, sending familiars to investigate the Gnoll encampment, a giant hole in the ground, and asking the gods how to approach. Apparently, the gods were not amused with their plans to lure them out of the hole. The party decides its not worth the risk and told the caravan they're just going to prepare to defend the caravan.   Which turned out to be necessary as a hunting party of gnolls was sent out to attack the resting caravan. The party manages to fight them off, specifically with the horde disbanding in cowardice the moment the leaders were incapacitated. The party now has one of them captured, although he seems useless...
