• The party carefully inspected the abandoned base of some sort.
  • Finding barracks
  • Bathrooms
  • Common Area
  • More Barracks
  • The chemical room
  • An arcane circle of sorts.
    • A giant red ooze attacked the party and nearly killed them all.
    • Soalgo gathers some of the remains of the ooze.
    • Tern made some cooking use of the remains of the ooze.
  • The research room.
    • In the room was a large obsidian crystal that Soalgo just had to touch.
      • On a single touch, it knocked out Soalgo for hours.
  • The furnace room.
    • Sprig was monitoring thumping of some kind, and he finally found the source. A furnace.
    • Upon opening the furnace, a burnt hand with a slime body crawls out.
    • The party is shocked to see this creature and just follows it. 
  • The creature leads them to the warehouse room.
    • A large room filled with soiled cages shocks the players.
    • Some of the party investigates the room.
    • Other party members attempt to communicate with the slime.
      • They managed to capture the poor thing.

• Soalgo and Tern talked about the unusual shadow magic.

Location:  Painaumaïs, Menione - Jail cell

• Soalgo isn't allowed to roam freely, so they talk to Odi in the jail cell.
• Odi mentioned that the crystal they found is called Mentaglass.
  • Mentalglass is a known instrument of Mind Flayers for preserving and retrieving information.
  • Daaku touched the Mentaglass and was able to scribe an unknown language.
  • Soalgo read the language.
    • It looked to be a glossary of oozes and their creation.
• Odi suggested reporting this back to Atbrook.
• Daaku decided to stay in the village.
