Introduction: A bitter taste Report

1488 DR - Spring - 1, Tarsakh(4) - Sword Coast, Fallston
Each character lives a little of their story, only to have it culminate in what seemed a planned meeting. It's clear forces are pushing us together, but it's not clear why or what they are.

Rewards Granted

Rewarded various bits of money from scrounging, a likely magical dagger to Yudon. The crew made off with some Kobold spears as well and a red gem worth 10gp.

Missions/Quests Completed

The only goal was to survive, but many chance occurrences made this a challenge.

Character(s) interacted with

• Lucyan uncontrollably burned the village farms and many farmers with it, only to be chased into town by the guard.
• Huden Was nearly caught for his debt, but instead pinned the blame on the Mayors son, wrong place, wrong time.
• Damien, while trying to serve the death sentence, killed the mayors son by mistake, earning a ticket out of the guard.
• Fallen was freed from his cage match after winning again by a white haired priestess only to end up trapped in the town bar.
• A fight broke out and everyone landed on a side, with a few people falling victim to Damien, Lucyan, and Fallen. Huden played dead.
• The guards arrive and are convinced the town is in revolt (this was lucky as it was on the verge and the guards knew it), so the guards began fighting back, killing innocents.
• The townsfolk then notice the burning farms, and the fight ends with everyone moving to protect the food (without which they will not survive the winter).
• The priestess appears and introduces herself. She dodges background questions but convinces the group to help each other and get out of town.
• On the way out of town the alarm bells raise, as ogres are marching toward the town. The players decide they will be damned if they help this trash pile and take off.
• They get stuck in a downpour and shelter in a cave, occupied by kobolds. Which they slaughter and loot.
