The Hathaika Peaks are known as the Cracked Mountains Bathed in Blood because all of the ethnicities or organizations that disagree with the Shelitan Empire are pushed there. It is at the fringes of the Empire, so law enforcement is weak and corruption is rampant. Many of the societies that were disrupted by the Empire now want to topple it and reinstate their old glory.
