Session 3: Searching for Hope

General Summary

Setting off from the city in search of the magical weapon that will help turn the tides of the battle to come, the party takes horses and travels southward and upstream towards the headwaters of the Ensea Canal, the rumored location of a great weapon that can help defeat the orcs that are besieging the elven lands.   Along the way, the party encounters a pair of gorgons grazing in clearing in the forest.  Noticing the party, the instantly become territorial and attack.  After a hard fought battle the party is able to use magic to crack the earth and provide a massive crevice that separates the gorgons from the party, preventing further battle.
