Session 5: The Pathway Back Report

General Summary

Emerging from the cavern to a new day, the party sets off for Eolenor, but instead detects a fire a short distance away.  Splitting the party, several rush to investigate and find orc's rampaging and destroying a cabin in the middle of the forest and killing the owners.  The advance party sets to combat and finds themselves considerably overpowered, with the remaining party members quickly trying to catch up.  Once battle has begun, Brok unleashes the power of the sword, granting it the vengeance it so hungrily demands.  As the battle rages on the bloodlust sets in, his eyes glaze over a deep crimson red, and he loses control.     The orcs recognize the sword after a few rounds, inspiring fear in their hearts and they make to break contact.  The party quickly dispatches the remaining orcs as Brok's bloodlust continues as he not only destroys all within range but concludes as he stabs all the corpses until certain they are dead.
