Session 28 | Down the Rabbit Hole Report

General Summary

Waking up the Flash of Virtue decide to send a rat through the teleport (Hannibal moves away before Markos sends it through). It seemed to work like it was supposed to. Deciding to look around the area Markos finds a place that seems different. Hannible manages to get through two layers of the traps of the uncovered wooden door that Kotmirra uncovered. Hannible trips the third trap takes some slashing damage but manages not to fall into the hole (75ft). Hannible heads down and it is dark and see one pathway. Trys to come back up by just climbing up before taking the time to looking around and finding the stairs back up. Markos casts alarm before Hannible comes back up and Hannible show his boots and this mud/sandy oil mixture. Kotmirra goes down first. The mud mixture is earth/dirt/tangy smell.    PWT- goes about 3 hours before finding a camping area. Finds money 210 pp; 43 gp; 111 sp; 7 ep; 800 cp; 2 diamonds worth 50 gp; 2 ruby 100sp; 5 Sapphire 75 gp; 3 books (have not looked yet) and a map that is similar to Kotmirra's but while a little bit information.    annible asks a question to the group with Markos on earmuffs. Continuing walking for another few hours until there is a gradual incline. Finding the end of the tunnel. Hannible finds the staircase up. Attempts to unlock/untrap the door. Tools get sucked up into the lock as he attempts to unlock it. He walks down. Kotmirra brings her axe to it- it splinters and then there is another door. Hannible attempts to open the next door and fails with it blowing it up. Markos tried to see magical traps. Markos has a feeling to put his hand in a specific way. He sees there are about 30 different races creating this tunnel area. And that something was not being completed before a flash of heat happens.   Thriven takes a watch. Beautiful morning with prism bugs shine rainbow. Thriven and Hannible find an overgrown path within the wooded area towards the treasure.   As you walk into this semi-circle clearing there is hush tone to all of the creatures, the wind seems lighter, and there is an immense amount of magical pressure pushing on your chest. Stepping for a closer you see symbols carved into the nine stumps and the magical pressure becomes suffocating and your vision starts to wavier as green colors swirl before your eyes darkening and darkening until all that remain is blackness. Moments pass as your are suffocating in the blackness when start to hear a ringing in your ears growing louder and louder and a loud pop hits your ears and you are able to take a deep cleansing breath of fresh air. There is still an air of magic around this place. Before you are now nine clearly defined paths each next to the stump with the symbol carved into it. Heads down path 8 to find 4 cubes.
