The Maestro of Oz

General Summary

4 of the Outlworlders ventured outside the Bronze Road Oasis, to investigate a song familiar to Shimmatung.  Seraphina remained behind in an attempt to commune with her goddess, Chauntea.     The Outlanders would come to the house of Confused Owl, who had Wise Donkey staying with him.  Whomp would recklessly trample the garden, alerting the two inside of the groups arrival.  After speaking to the pair for some time, they received a map of Oz along with the where abouts of the Maestro of Munchkinland.    Warnings of a dark regime within the world would also be expressed before the groupd would leave for Munchkinland. On the road to Munchkinland, they group was set on by a trio of wolves that were easily dispatched.    Arriving in Munchkinland, Pelaios would startle the townspeople into their homes believing him to be a giant winged monkey raiding the villages.  This surprisingly gave the group free reign of the city, and quick access to the Mayor who would then call in the Maestro.     When meeting the Masetro, Shimmatung would come to recognize him as his old bandmate, Xani.  Another Gnome that had been banished to the barren with their quartet.  Xani explained how he came to arrive in Oz, and how an unplanned nap in the poppy fields would him serving as Queen Elphaba's personal entertainment.  The group would devise a plan to liberate the world, and possibly the Chaos Emerald.   Pelaios would be taken by a dream in his sleep to meet Morpheus where he would acquire the Starry Knight hilt along with his Warlock patronage.    Shimmatung would receive a magically inscribed textbook of the College of Creation written by a Dragon themselves.    Veya would be greeted by a Purrenial (cat pet) who bloomed from the ground.   Whoomp would be given the Emerald Coin which imbued him with Totem like abilities.     The group would follow the yellow brick road to the Maze of the Crow where they would enter.  The group would quickly split leaving Veya (cat wildshape) and her Purrenial to wonder one way while the rest of the group went another.   Whomp would come upon a pair of skeletons and some rats where battle would engage.  Pelaios and Kai along with Shimmatung on Tallulah would come to Whomp aid.  After which they would open the chest to reveal a Mimic. The Mimic would attack Whomp and latch on to his hand before being shocked off by a Mote of Inspiration.  It would then attack Kai and almost end the Koibra in a single attack.   Pelaios would finish the Mimic off and a Ruby would expel from it's mouth.     Session would have to be continued.....
