Level Up! And then we died...: November 6th 2022 Report

General Summary

Eager to learn the mysteries of a traveling group of scholars arriving in Bryn Shander, the party spends three weeks training and leveling up. During their time in Bryn Shander, they met a cleric of Lathander, Vaede. She decided to join the party to help out her poor friend Copper Knobbernocker.   

The Black Cabin

    Speaking with Copper, he tells them he's worried about a friend named Macreadus, who is conducting research at an old cabin in the wilderness. He says that if the characters find themselves nearby, he would appreciate it if they looked in on Macreadus, who's trying to build a device that could end the Frostmaiden's eternal winter and return summer to Icewind Dale.

Rewards Granted

Charred Book. Nothing remains of this tome except ashes and a badly burned spine, upon which characters can discern the letters ETHER. It's obvious that these letters were part of a much longer title.   Amulet of Health. Your Constitution score is 19 while you wear this amulet. It has no effect on you if your Constitution score is already 19 or higher without it.   Blessing of the Morninglord. You gain 10 temporary hit points each day at dawn.
