The party met up with another member, "Snow" on the ship they were boarding to go to Otari. introductions were made and the ship set sail for the seaside town.
The group arrived at Otari in the morning, where Opal manhandled a dock worker to get information about where the taverns are. Meanwhile, Gren chatted up Tamily Tanderveil , who seemed to take a liking to him. From the docks the party decided to split up into three groups. Well, "decided". Snow just took off on her own without telling the others.
Snow headed off to the mill to meet with Klorte Hengus , unbeknownst to the rest of the group. Klorte is apparently an old aquaintance off hers, and in the conversation, Snow learns that "Yin" (Yinyasmera ) runs a gang. She tells Klorte that she is just in town to find some work, though not of the criminal variety.
Mett'a and Gren O. Willy go to the Crow's Crook tavern, where Gren sings a song about the tavern owner Yinyasmera . It almost went horribly, but then he barely won her over. They continued to drink there until the others met up with them at the tavern.
Meanwhile... Catastrofae, Opal, Balthazar, and Kimu went to Wrin's Wonders , where they met Wrin Sivinxi . After some conversation about the fake wood caravan of the cosmos, Catastrofae delivered the letter to her, which she read and then promptly burned. She said that she could not get a response back for a day because the weather will be cloudy. in talking with her, they learned that she apparently reads the stars to see the future.
The party all regrouped at the Crook's Nook , where Opal won a wrestling match against an orc sailor named Korgak, dumping him into the water. Gren dove in to the water to "help" the orc by relieving him of some coin, but was caught and told to shove off by the boat crew.
At the tavern, the party was told about some work for Yinyasmera, to go to the Light tower and retrieve her crew and, more importantly, her goods. She would pay us 50 gold. There will be morlocks. the party took off for the light tower in the early afternoon, arriving near the tower around 2pm
