The Forgotten City V Report

From the fortified cave to the valley
The Company did seek the vined cliff
To gauge for climbing, our weight to carry
And for Riven to cut, to lick, to sniff

On first watch, Brave Kegho heard an ill sound
In the cliff face, giant vile wasps nested
In the desert dawn, vines declared unsound
To use the water cave was suggested

In the Water Cave a dank hole went down
And Clever Alexandru descended
Lantern in hand, dagger clenched in a frown
Trussed in Kegho's rope, Asbjørn's thews splendid

Alex at the bottom, light seen, he crept
Friend of Shadows, the halfling on a quest
Finding lagoon, braziers, and altar kept
Finding no foes, Alex called for the rest

The Company searched, sought maybe a cache
Alex leaned with staff to fill a bottle
Asbjorn threw a rock grandiose, big splash
