Session 12: Welcome to the Glisten Subsector Report
General Summary
After spending 48 hours on the planet of Noctocol getting fuel and new freight and passengers while waiting for Nancy Cartwheel to talk the leadership of the planet to no avail. On the day that the ship was supposed to take off Jean Paul Pierre was still missing as well as a passenger who was the only new passenger traveling as a high passenger with the exception of those all ready on. Mephiston Andereich arrived about 5 minutes before scheduled take off in a yellow cab. Behind the cab was a bobtail truck with a one ton cargo container that held his luggage. Once arriving to the landing pad Mephiston make chit chat with the crew then asked if they new who the person in the back seat was passed out. He said he was no doctor so he didn't know whether he was passed out from partying or knocked out in a brawl. Then he walked into the ship. Captain Lucas and Elliot managed to get Jean Paul Pierre to sick bay where Dr. Cannon was able to determine that he was passed out from to much drinking. This left the piloting duties to Domic. Domic got behind the controls a little rusty but was able to get the Shenanigans space bound. Valdimir made successful astronavigation and jump checks successfully. The Shenanigans was bound for the system of Pagaton. The first six five day was status quo on the ship on the morning of the sixth day captain Lucas waking up and doing his annual routine security found Mephiston in the Shenanigans library on the computer. Captain Denniston Domic and Captain Lucas went to the ships library. Once there they were greeted by Mephiston who seem to be expecting them gave a warm greeting stopping what ever he was doing on the computer. As Captain Lucas starting looking at the door for damage none was found the lock was intact and locked when they has arrived. The question began going through all three minds was how did he get in here and not set off alarms. Domic looking over his shoulder saw that he was on the computer looking up information on the apple of Eden. Domic having his gun drawn asked Mephiston to stand up. At this point Mephiston asking for mercy telling the three gentlemen that I hired a captain Brent Jong who I gather now was once the captain of this fine ship to take me to several systems looking for this ancient artifact I payed him well to help me in my mission of collecting and hopefully finding the pieces of this very ancient technology. I had all my information on my personal computer including Morpheus. I underestimated the captain and thirst for greed and fortune. Captain Thunderchin as I later discovered hacked into my personal computer and stole all my data including Morpheus. I had safety protocols in place so that Morpheus could not be detected, but I see you have access to him. Do we know if Thunderchin did. At this point Morpheus responded telling everyone that he had things in motion once he was discovered by Thunderchins computer expert. The Shenanigans system at that time had been badly corrupted and compromised due to lack of maintenance. He was counting on Choam to send somebody to claim the ship and also learned that Captain Denniston has obtained 25 percent of the ship. Unfortunately due to the corruption in the system he was not able to save Mephiston information. What I was able to save is the Apple of Eden was split into several slices by the ancients as a protection protocol from the civilizations. They have been spread through out the what they called the wild west of the Imperium. I also have some bits of information on a unknow race called the Kyou that this Thunderchin was also researching. Arriving to the planet of Pagaton a small space port with only three docks available and two of docks had ships in them. Captain Denniston requesting permission to land was denied and told they would have to wait for an hour. This did not make the captain happy and grumbled for the whole hour. At the end of this hours the crew on the bridge watched another Far trader go into one of the docks that a ship had just left. This really got to Captain Denniston and he once again contacted the tower to find out that they had a three hour wait now. It was then that they discovered that they had to make a reservations to dock at this space port. Three hours later as Domic prepared to maneuver to the space port alarms starting going off through out the ship and the bright lights of what they would see when making a jump and a week later the crew woke up with the Shenanigans on back up power engines running at impulse power. Once the crew woke up and got there sense about them they discovered that the jump drive was shot and most of the passengers and freight had disappeared. Looking out the cockpit windshield they discovered they were near a space port but not the one they were at. Morpheus after rebooting and getting back on line told the crew that they were in the Oghma Cluster which lies at the Rimward (bottom) end of Sindal Subsector. The cluster is on a major trade route but Marduk itself is a backwater stopover- the sort of place that ships pass through rather than heading for. This time Domic was able to safely dock the Shenanigans. Taking most of the day the crew discovered that this was actually the system that Nancy Cartwheel has asked to travel too. The crew was able to discover that the jump drive could be fixed but it would be a week for the J-drive to arrive plus a crew that could put it in. They were also told the part had been ordered along with the crew to install it and that it was paid for and ordered two day before there arrival. The crew got into the shuttle Pandrisha heading for the low port of Markuk. Leaving around 18:00 hours the two hours into the flight to the low port the shuttle is attacked by unknow raiders who eventually hit the shuttle with missiles causing it to crash on the planet of Marduk.

Even thought there are questions that need to be asked the Shenanigans has reached the Trojan Reach. They are currently four Parsecs from there destination of Drinax.
