General Summary

Carl is forced to leave the Satyrs of Evermorn the morning after the attack

Crest, heir to the title of Elder tries to assert this reality before breaking down, resulting in Brexton informing Carl he needs to leave as Satyrs shuttle back to mainland on boats

Redwood has darkened, leaves turned a deep purple-ish red and brownish oranges; portal is open in the island

Carl decides to head through the portal, immediately begins falling at terminally velocity, slowing down as he approaches the ground, running along the side of a massive tree to a stop

Sees fixelhop - hippo/frog hybrid

Carl finds himself on trunk of gargantuan tree; finds gravity is centered where his feet are

Sees a bunch of small fae creatures with wooden masks just like those that attacked, but they seem to be childish

Tries to communicate with them, language is similar to druidic

Offered to join them to eat - fixelhop is delicious, sqlurch breaks his molar off

Leader holds his hand, suddenly sprouts shell like Carl's

All creatures turn into Tortle-like versions of themselves, try to prevent Carl from leaving

Carl tries to fight way out, creatures try to burrow into him and turn his skin into bark like theirs

Hears rustling in trees and sees 4 different paris of colored eyes in trees before 4 elf-looking creatures run out and save him

White eyes burns collectives with purple flames; pink eyes slashes heads off with axe and throws Carl to safety; emerald eyes smashes collectives between trees; blue eyes freezes collectives

Four creatures who saved him are Eladrin

Learn a bit about each other and the creatures who attacked

Masked creatures are the Collective, only arrived a few days beforehand, Eladrin thought Carl brought them

The dead Collectives turn into death lillies, which immediately become new trees made of new collective members

Eldarin point Carl towards Republic City, where he can return home

The five of them travel to the city over the course of a few months, becoming a travelling party in the process

Sees autumn forest on journey, looks incredibly similar to the Redwood

Sees a creature that looks just like Lillan run by

Arrive at republic city - looks like NYC, but made out of growing flora, such as building made out of growing trees, garments made out of raw materials
