Session 5 Report

General Summary

Chikumaru had decided to get to his workplace after assisting with Yoichi's family problem, he tried his hardest to entertain the crowd however they proved to be quite a difficult bunch to get rowdy.     Meanwhile Yua, Chiyo and Sanjo went back to the pyramid scheme office in order to burglarise it (Which they lied about to Yua) and proceeded to steal whatever they could, finding a pounch of sen and gems, and a black pin belonging to a "Kamiya" family.   Yua of course became furious with their stealing and warned them of an incoming "karma", the others however, continued stealing. And as Chiyo was stealing a vase, a old decrepit man appeared from seemingly nowhere and began threatening the group to return his stolen items. Which they eventually complied with and returned the sen and gems, the pin was kept however.     Chikumaru's performance came to a sudden abrupt end, as a group of thugs and a lieutenant from the "Kenjo-gumi" forced their way into the underground gambling ring and began murdering the guards and even slaughtered a random heckler for no good reason.   The lieutenant was a man called Tatsuo, who forcefully took over the gambling ring while Arata escaped. The rest of the guests were forced to stay and gamble and Chikumaru had a very rough time attempting to get them rowdy again.     Soon, the party rendezvous at The Misty Steed and as Chikumaru was giving the party his great plan of action, they were approached by Arata who was drunk and asked them for help getting back his gambling ring and offered to pay around 2,000 sen. Which the party eventually accepted.     The plan was set: Sanjo bought some poison at Arata's expense from The Spice of Life Apothecary. The poison was used to mix with the curry at the staff meals for the gambling ring, Chikumaru managed to stop some other staff from eating it thankfully. Once the staff were poisoned, Sanjo walked in and immediately began culling the guards, the rest of the party followed suit, with Yua trying her hardest to knock people out instead of killing.   Tatsuo and 3 guards had caught Arata and threatened to kill him if the party didnt walk out with their hands up, Sanjo and Chikumaru's illusion blended in with the staff they sent out, and started their attack on them, killing the guards and saving Arata.   Tatsuo managed to escape.   The party helped an old woman fix up her cart again.
