Session 11: The Lamb and the Wolf Report

General Summary

Pita finally comes face to face with the people who abducted her parents: it is none other than her previous mentors: the bounty hunters Clementine Keres and Joseph Adolphus. Clementine airs her grievences with Pita, and explains why they are doing what they are doing. Pita had abandoned them 5 years ago; selling them out to federal forces and leaving them for dead. They escaped, however, and have been looking for Pita since.   They swore and oath (witnessed by the demon Kol'Gru'Doth) to keep Pita's parents alive and unharmed in exchange for Pita's life. It was at this moment, Pita felt a demonic presence with Clementine and Joseph. Of course, they broke this oath and attempted to kill them anyway, riding away with Pita and her parents dying. With the last bit of Pita's strength, she was able to sever the ropes on the gallows and save her parent's lives. Just as her friends arrived, Pita was able to say goodbye. Kol'Gru'Doth, motivated to help by the shame of his cowardly actions, sacrificed his essence to bring Pita back to life; this imbued Pita with a piece of Kol'Gru'Doth's soul, but left her unable to use her warlock powers.   The party, along with Pita's parents, returned to Sonora for a long rest. Gilbert was contacted by Dr. Crane and told he had recieved a message for him regarding his Uncle's health. He is needed in Reno right away. While plotting a corse through the desert, he was approached by Mr. Jesop, who required the blood from the Morrigan. Kal-Kai was approached by Doubt in the devestated Sonora church. Pita had some quiet time to reflect in her childhood room, vowing revenge against Clementine and Joseph for their broken vow. The Urayuli was tempted by a demon in his dreams. Abernathy was gifted some runic translations.   A new journey is upon them.
