Session 53: Skrik’s Scribbles

General Summary

So, today we go further into the deep dungeons of the leechees...Liches? Anyway, no Phylacteries yet.   We venture into the green pastures, and find a group of pantherlike multi limbed beasts. I can tell you, they were looking to eat up a ratfolk, so I steered well clear. Thankfully, the others had no such problems, and managed to placate them with offerings of flesh. We pushed onwards and left the beasts to their meals.   Then...the horror.   High grass. I don’t even recall most of it, but traversing it, we encountered some evil looking snarlers. They tried to convey something, but I had no idea what. Then they attacked, and no matter what I did, I could not hurt them. Thankfully, my friends did not suffer the same fate, and managed to down one of them, while another fled. I believe it was Valstrax that did most of the (oh irony) legwork on this group, though the steam-fishies were pretty useful as well!   After this fight, the steam-fishies went to scout, and found something way across the high grass… because obviously. Did I mention I hate high grass? Because it’s just the worst. It gets in your armpits, you can’t see shit, it makes you move slower, and it’s just awful. We should totally make a grass mowing destructo-bot golem to remedy this for us later.   In any case, we found some form of armour and another undead creature. Unfortunately for them, I was very aggravated by now, and with that, we destroyed them, picked their corpses clean of stuff and then we grabbed another glyph key, before attuning all of our keys to the black gate in front of us.   So, TL DR: I fucking hate grass, we killed shit and then attuned to a black gate. Oh, Janey also got emotional because she doesn’t look like a good girl. I can relate, but don’t see the problem. Don’t get mad or sad. Get even.
