Session 2: Bandit Hideout Report

General Summary

• wake up from long nights rest
• vote to go down bandit road, or main road, zyllamir prays and votes bandits, swaying pete and bori to push the majority.
• care the chest with them (takes 3 people to move)
• reach bandit hideout
• in trying to sneak up, norman gets caught in a rope trap and hoisted into the air, alerting the bandits to someone's pressense
• pete nonchalantly flings a hand ax cutting norman down. He falls on his head and takes some minor damage
• whistle heard from inside the hideout, faint sounds of people moving about
• bandits shoot from murder hole like window (can't remember if this hit someone)
• wilton, zedaya run to front door
• norman triggers pit trap and falls down the hole
• bori fails to hoist norman out of the hole, doesn't fall in himself
• pete pulls up norman from hole and heads to the back wall that seems to be partially broken
• norman forces the opening in the wall to be big enough to allow people inside
• bori runs into the storage room of the hideout, doesnt see much besides boxes and barrels
• zyllamir enters and notices these are the stolen goods they are searching for
• wilton peaks into the front door, almost gets hit by three automated crossbow bolts hides behind some cover in the corner, crossbow ready, no bandits seen yet
• zedaya sets up inside the main room, keeping watch
• pete and bori enter into the main room from the storage room, with wilton being startled by petes sudden entrance, but held steady and didn't fire
• a sickly bandit goes running out of the living quarters, and rushed Norman who was the last one still outside the hideout, but his frantic attack was no where close to landing
• zendaya and the bandit chief have a reflex faceoff with zendaya pulling the upper hand. A dagger went flying down the hallway, which the bandit narrowly avoided
• bandit jumps out and shoots wildly at the group clustered in the main room, hitting wilton
• wilton fires back and takes out the bandits knee, all but dooming him
• pete rushes the maimed bandit, and runs him through. The bandit falls to the ground in a heap, barely alive and unconsious
• clown fiesta of fighting the bandit chief
• bless gets used by zyllamir
• norman scares off the sicky bandit
• A bandit slips out the back of the hideout
• the chief is incapacitated, and begins to glow red from his chest while violently shaking, people back off and bori chops his head off
• The necklace he was wearing is able to wrestle itself free, releasing a red mist that formed into a human shape
• the "hologram" laughed at your efforts, and stated "So this is who is interrupting my plan.... no matter. He was merely a pawn"
• The red mist fades and the necklace falls to the floor
• the party carries out the goods back to the cart, and finds a use for the iron key that was looted from a bandit the day before
• The wall norman broke through was a malfunctioning hidden compartment containing a chain shirt (pete), a ring similar to the necklace, and a coded letter that scrambled the contents upon breaking open the seal
