General Summary

The party turned in the materials to Caiden and watched as he brew a potion to cure his daughter. Caiden was so thankful that he gave Rock his most valuable potion, a healing potion.
The party met up with Millie in the tavern who asked to hire the party as bodyguards to take a shortcut through the woods to Wilrest.
The party ran into someone blocking the road asking for a toll. They negotiated the toll down and passed through.
Trouble came when the party rested in the woods for the first time. They were attacked by plants and corpses that emanated a shadowy substance. When they killed all of the creatures, the shadows coalesced in a nearby clearing.
