Session 05: Attack of the Giant Fire Beetles

General Summary

• Wake up in the Sandstorm's Refuge
• The city streets are alive with activity. A town crier quickly catches your ear, " Giant Fire Beetle Attack incoming! Make your way to safety immediately. All who are able-bodied and willing to assist, head to the city walls!"
• The party joins forces with the Sandguard, heading to the west gate
• Lilian fights from the city wall, Zazal and Mhump fight on the front line, Clarence and Cerric fight within the front lines and offer healing from a stash on Clarence's Cart
• Zazal and Mhump shred the fire bugs, absolutely kick butt!
• Lilian provides healing and some amazing boob crossbow hits!
• Cerric heals and hits equally hard!
• Clarence heals a ton of people but finally succumbs to the giant fire beetles.
• Rizana, Commander of the Sandguard and Garrick Ironshield (veteran half-orc, leader of the Helm's Guard) are seen at the front of the defense, surrounded by sandguard and helm's guard.
• The last of the giant fire beetles are driven from the city,
• After the party settles down, heals, and rests for lunch/dinner a halfling (Finnegan Lightfoot) approaches and says Rizana would like to thank the party specifically for their good work and invites them to dine tonight at the Sandguard Citadel.
